Farmers RECC is changing the annual scholarship program to assist in financing higher education for students whose families, or themselves, are cooperative members. In the past, students completed a written application, gathered recommendations and completed an essay to apply for the Farmers RECC Scholarship. In the future, Farmers RECC will distribute seven $1,000 scholarships during a random drawing at the cooperative’s annual meeting, which is held in July each year.
