Farmers RECC Scores High In American Customer Satisfaction Index

Farmers RECC, your local Touchstone Energy Cooperative, recently received its American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI®) score of 88 on a scale of 0-100 for the year of 2020.

“Thank you to our members for taking the time to answer the survey questions,” said Bill Prather, Farmers RECC President & CEO. “Your input helps us improve our services and commitment to the members we serve.”

The ACSI is the only national cross-industry measure of member satisfaction in the United States. Each year, the ACSI uses data from interviews with roughly 300,000 customers as inputs to an econometric model for analyzing customer satisfaction with more than 400 companies in 46 industries and 10 economic sectors. ACSI data have proven to be strongly related to several essential indicators of micro and macroeconomic performance.

The ACSI measures customer satisfaction and retention using four standardized questions. The four questions developed by the ACSI focus on the following attributes: overall satisfaction, confirmation of expectations, comparison to an ideal utility company and intention to choose said utility again.

“Year after year, we see that Touchstone Energy Cooperatives (like us) historically score higher than other utilities,” Prather said. “We are proud to be a local co-op, owned by the members we serve, and a part of the larger network.”

Touchstone Energy Cooperatives is a national network of electric cooperatives across 46 states that provides resources and leverages partnerships to help member cooperatives and their employees better engage and serve their members. By working together, Touchstone Energy Cooperatives stand as a source of power and information to their 32 million member every day.
