Part of Farmers RECC's mission is to help improve the quality of life for our members and the communities we serve.
Farmers RECC is active in expanding our renewable sources of energy and helped establish the Glasgow Landfill-Gas-to-Energy project and expanded into offering Cooperative Solar to our members in 2017.
As part of that mission we remain committed to our area youth through the distribution of the Farmers RECC Scholarship as well as our participation in the Washington Youth Tour.
Farmers RECC is also proud to offer the Warmhearts program to our members. Members can donate less than a dollar per month to help other families in the area pay their winter heating bills. Learn more about the Operation Warmhearts program here.
The Honor Flight Program helps veterans travel to Washington, D.C. to see their memorials, with the help of Farmers RECC and Kentucky's Touchstone Energy Cooperatives. Find out more information and a link to the Honor Flight application in our Honor Flight section.
We participate in several community programs as well, many focusing on safety.
