Farmers RECC Announces Scholarship Recipients

Since its inception, Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative has strived to give back to the communities it serves. Every year, Farmers RECC awards eight $1,000 scholarships to assist in financing higher education for students whose families, or themselves, are cooperative members.  This year, the Farmers RECC Scholarship recipients are:

  • Lavery Hughes, daughter of Mark and Letitia Hughes
  • Raelyn Mosby, daughter of Scotty and Jessica Mosby
  • Riley Jo Mathews, daughter of Steve and Susan Mathews
  • Jackson Harrison, son of LeAnna and Anthony Emberton and David and Tina Harrison.
  • Myles Rascoe, son of Ben and Natasha Rascoe
  • Carlie Sanders, daughter of Jeff and Melinda Sanders
  • Steven Taylor, son of Keith and Susan Taylor
  • Luke Fields, son of Amanda and Keith Fields

Students will be able to use their scholarship for tuition, fees, campus housing, textbooks and other supplies directly related to the recipient’s education. 

Farmers RECC Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, creed, religion, gender, disability or national origin.
